Portfolio of Works

One of my current goals is exploring abstract design.   The more I attempt to simplify the painting, the more I realize how difficult it is to create a painting that is simple yet complex. 

I am starting a pictoral journal of my childhood in Nebraska, starting with landscape paintings around my hometown of Pilger.   I have added some of my journal sketches to this collection. 

I enjoy making greeting cards with photos taken from my original artwork.  I frequently create a piece of art specifically for my cards, especially at Christmas time.
